To respond to the 2019 live-brief Penguin Random House witch asked
to re-design the Haruki Murakami's book cover I tried to enhance the author's story by focusing on the concept of "Separation", taking an experimental approach. Behind the design, in reference to life and death, bright light and dark areas - defined from a deep cut, or "missing part" -
wants to express the hope, the suicidal character, and the death.
